We got this Ice Cream/ Mash Potato scoop from OXO to test out. We hardly ever have mash potatoes so I thought what better way to test this bad boy out was to buy some awesome Swedish Glaze - Non dairy ice cream and have some.
Looks neat and fancy
Easy to hold
Extremely easy to use
Easy to clean by hand
The Good Grips Trigger Scoop is awesome for perfect scoops of ice cream. The Scoop yields large round scoops of ice cream with a simple press of the lever. No shaking or whacking on the side of the bowl.
A tab on the Ice Cream Scoop keeps your hand from sliding up as you scoop, and the soft, non-slip handle relieves pressure on your hand.
Easy-to-use swing lever
Makes large, perfect scoops
Soft, comfortable handle
Recently we found out that Hayden wasn't allergic to Soya so my baby boy got to try his first bit of ice cream. I can say using the scoop to give little man his first bit of ice cream was a piece of cake.
Its a shame he wasn't impressed with the taste and I got to eat it HAHA
Very impressed, its super cool and almost futuristic like. Only thing is I'm worried what happen's if the lever breaks or comes off. It seems pretty easy to fix but do you really want to have to deal with wondering?
Rovi also tried it out, don't tell him I've told you guys this but he's really shocking when it comes to scooping Ice cream - he takes chunks out ... maybe on purpose to wind me up, I'm not sure but he was able to work the scoop pretty well and put my mind at ease knowing I would still have ice cream left over in the freezer HAHA
If you guys want a demo via youtube give me a shout and I'll see what I can do ;)
How do you like to eat your ice cream? Bowl or cornet - I think that's what they're called?
Would love to know :)
